Can i be honest with you? Watched it live (obviously), then watched the full 90 minutes a further 2 times on Sunday night. Watched Football First and MOTD on Sunday. Rewound MOTD about 3 times to watch that again. Then watched the full 90 minutes again on Monday night after work. I then watched football first again from start to finish, before deciding to keep skipping to minute 45 of football first, as this takes you just before we go 2-0 up (basically just as all hell was about to break loose). So i watched those last 15 minutes of football first maybe about 5 times. Then on Tuesday, i did it again a further 2 times before realising that i was starting to ignore Mario's 1st goal out of pure convenience, so i watched Mario's goal about 4 times, before then watching the whole of football first again for good measure. Guess what i'm doing tonight?

My pub's sky package comes with MUTV. So as well as watching live, MOTD2, and Football First versions, I've had the joy of watching their biassed version. To hear their rag and Crerand squirm is priceless - the comment I loved the most was after Silva's goal - "please, just blow the whistle!".
Their phone-ins have been a bit special too ...happy days .

That's reminded me of another brief moment of TV gold. After the final whistle the camera pans from Buzzer, Tony Book and Bernie Halford (and for some reason Peter Reid) trying to hold back their euphoria, to Paddy Crerard who I think is actually crying. He looks like those survivors of the tsunami just as the waters are receding.
