So how many?

My cousin who I sit with couldn’t go on Saturday, he rung me at 1pm as I was on my way to the ground in my car. I was 10 mins away from my nephew. In the past I would have gone to my cousins house to pick up his card and then pick up my nephew on route.

But then I thought about the hassle of creating him an account or getting my cousin to transfer a ticket so an eight year old spent his Saturday stuck inside playing city on FIFA instead of watching the real thing.

That is sad.

The club and the Premier League will lose a generation of younger match going casual fans with this new system then insist on using.
I don’t think there should have been that much hassle. I think your cousin could have transferred his ticket to you and then you could have swiped your nephew in at the turnstile.

FWIW I’ve asked anyone I might pass a spare ticket on to to get a free City account. If they don’t / can’t then that makes things more difficult if you have problems at the turnstile. That said, the supervisors make sure everyone with a ticket gets in. I wouldn’t try to get a spare for an adult (different to your situation) who couldn’t be bothered creating a City account

Have faith ,so final checklist ,upto 14 days before in your tickets click on the ticket you carnt use ,click on little square box top left ,the transfer ticket icon should light up ,select who you want to send it to from f and f and select their correct email ,they get an email giving them the option what to do with your ticket ,you get an email saying you don't have the ticket anymore ,
What can possibly go wrong......
Sounds a piece of piss

We’ll only know when I try it !

Why didn’t you get your cousin to transfer his ticket to you ? Takes 2 minutes and far easier than travelling and handing over plastic cards.

You would have to go in together but he wouldn’t need to set up an account as both tickets would be in your digital wallet.

Tbf city have actually made it easier once they are in your f and f and still people moan
And I love a good moan about city

as of 12 pm, there are only 280 tickets left so not a bad turnout but when tickets are 20 notes people who cannot afford prem tickets can get them
Another sell-out for home fans. I wonder how many Brugge fans will come. Certainly more than Barca got at the weekend (37,000) for a league match with no crowd restrictions. Does that mean Barca are a small club? Our crowd tonight will be more than double Juve last night (20,083). Does that make Juve a small club?

I think what it says is the champions in its format is dying on its arse. The group stages are not good games of football as you get heavily rotated squads playing no hopers, the early games mean something but the last ones end up being dead rubbers. Uefa want more of this but it’s obvious us fans don’t, the champions league only gets going in February. The knock outs produce some very watchable games, unfortunately the group stages don’t. Probably the reason why Sky doesn’t want to bid for it and BT sports end up with it.

He was unable to, he was pre occupied with something that made him miss the game at the last minute. We aren’t connected despite sitting next to each other. Faffing around on his phone would have been the last thing on his mind.
