Played two very good games against WBA and Barcelona.
Of course we don't know what would have happened had we played our strongest team at Utd. We might have won, but I'm sure we would not have beaten WBA and Barca. Guardiola made a good call, and events have proved him right.
Mourinho was the one who bottled it, and as a result dropped point at the weekend.
Great decision by Pep,would love to think we are strong enough to fight on all fronts but with international shite thrown in its just nonsense to think so.united now have a potential 4 extra games,it will ruin them if they do.

Lol indeed!! They are seriously going to have to up their game to get to the final. They are gash. They offer zero threat to the title and won't make the top 4. They are not currently at our level and long may that continue. It may change again in the future but for now I don't really worry about or care what they do. The fact is they are out of the CL, have a poor side with Ill thought out signings, a manager who is not going to be a good fit for them and are looking worse by the week. They beat a very much weakened side last week and their fans are hailing it as success when they know they are crap and it won't get any better than the EFL cup at best for them.

Its fine going for 4 competitions if all of your rivals are, but that's not how it is. I reckon that Chelsea and Liverpool have the equivalent of at least 6 points start by virtue of not being in Europe. It was a huge factor for Leicester last season. And when we play in the CL we are up against teams that are not burdened by that extra competition and play in less intensive leagues. Something has to give.
