So tevez claims the problem is...

IF... The worst case scenario is true.

Tevez refuses to play>>>we fine him two weeks wages every week for breach of contract. Force him to train twice a day, don't permit and additional trips home.

Make him an example. Be brutal. Teach him the value of what he's asking and how we've treated him.

Don't sell him and give in to his demands, we own him as a player for the next three and a half years. We should show him how good he has it and how wrongly he's acting.

I agree 100% the club should play hardball all the way

I think he has another club lined up and i think its barca, (poss real) if so fine let him go with our thanks etc and we will have david villa as an xmas pressie for david silva. many thanks and all that!!

Carlos Tevez statement will be hitting your screens very shortly. Includes the word "resent". This is getting very ugly

Rot in hell, Tevez.

relationship with certain people at the club has broken down beyond repair, no personal issues with Mancini, thanks Mansour for his support and understanding.

Won't happen because of the FFP rules.

It could for a year or so I suspect.

more bollox if true

they really must think we are stupid and can be easily manipulated because of our (pre-transfer request) hero worship of Tevez and his goal record to date

yet we all know how this game works. We saw it with wooney and we've seen it with countless other mercenaries

some club at some point needs to make a stand with one of these unbelievably greedy and ungrateful fuckers

most clubs need to recoup the money desperately and have to cave in as they have no choice

City can afford to take the hit and the more I hear the more I am thinking that we should play super hardball with this agent and his player

this might mean that other mercenaries would not in future join City but really so what? We will still attract top quality professionals who want to be amongst the biggest earners on the planet playing for a club that is going to compete at the very highest level

seriously tell them to show some respect or make him see out his contract with the stiffs

Tevez or our CEO?? Behave Kia ffs. Player power will never reach that level pal.

Only one winner. Bye Carlos.

I agree with what you're saying and the principal BUT wouldn't it suit him to go and live in Argentina whilst pulling in two hundred grand a week? He wouldn't be wanted around the training ground he'd just upset the apple cart

Sad.

I've read 90% of the replies on this thread and unlike most of you i'm not angry, betrayed, bitter or anything else...i'm sad.

Sad because Carlos Tevez is a player who could've done what Maradonna did and spearheaded a club with a small reputation to winning big trophies. Sad because before coming to City Tevez had felt unwanted. Sad because he had the potential to be a true City legend, crossing Manchester to find the best goalscoring form of his career and, in the process, being part of our first trophy in over 30 years.

Sad because it now looks as though our talisman and captain has shown his true colours and they don't match up with what I thought.

For much of the last 24 hours I have hoped this would be resolved peacefully and Tevez would ditch his agent and make-up with the club to continue what we had started together.

I am sad because it feels as though the end has come and we will say goodbye to someone who had everything needed to become Mr. Manchester City.
