Not so sure. He may be protecting him, Johnson is all trickery and probably didn't want a late challenge to injure him.

Thats what i thought until i looked at the whole 30 properly. there is by far 7 much worse footballers in there than AJ, when you look at it this way, he has to go.

Problem is it goes by the number of people in each position.

Think today had Green has the number 1 maybe? James and Hart fighting for number 2.

Johnson might have impressed in training thats why he wanted to try Lennon out on the left. Shit idea really should of gave Johnson 45 mins.

We shouldn't of played Rooney today. We should of started with Crouch and Bent and seen how they played with each other. Hate Carragher wanker shouldn't be near the england set up.
 
heskey wouldnt get in my power league team. i think rooney plays better alone with support. 4-3-3 with the ball 4-5-1 without. barry holding midfield, lampard gerrard alongside. lennon/johnson alongside rooney then dropping lennon/johnson back to make a 5 in the middle. if they wanted to change it to a 4-4-2, bent/crouch would be miles better options than heskey.
 
On today's showing I would phone 23 other England players and start all over again!! Ones who want to play for England not ones who can't even flaming well score and have to let the opposition score for us.

Pathetic.

This although I feel sorry for Dawson he's been brilliant for Spurs. If it was me I might just pick him and send Plug home. Don't know whats happened to SWP, he's performances for club and country have been poor. I'm not sure what the stats say but I would expect the percentage of successful crosses is very low. His crossing style is awkward will always favour a defenders block or interception. He leans back far too much losing valuable time.
