So then...Scudamoes comments about the premier league..

Dangerously close to the "too big to fail" mantra in the US about banks.

FFP was cooked up primarily to benefit the elites, especially them. The elites of Europe will not allow them to fail

I can't believe people are twisting what I said with regard to the WWE. Pige is an argumentative fucker but RandomJ bounding in and spouting bollocks without looking at how I came to mention the wrestling shows what we are dealing with on here.

Pige said, if there is an agenda, why did 'they' let us, Blackburn, Arsenal and Chelsea win the league.

What I'm saying is that there is and has always been (since the Premier League started) a clear bias towards Manchester United.

There's far too many to list here but things such as the Fellaini incident.

Things like the polar opposite reaction to missiles being thrown in Manchester derbies. Rio Ferdinand gets hit and it's all over SSN for days afterwards. Craig Bellamy gets hit whilst taking a corner, goes down, ends up not taking the corner because the objects won't stop, United win the ball from the corner and score from it and not a fucking word is said.

Things like the Balotelli trial by TV as opposed to the SSN snub of Fellaini.

Things like the Adebayor incident. Alex Ferguson demands action, the media howl about it, he gets charged despite having been booked, they bring in the fast track system to make sure he misses the next game, David Gill is on the panel to decide his punishment and the next game is the Manchester derby.

The making up of rules to add injury time onto injury time in the 4-3 derby.

The refusal to deal with Rooney running around calling everyone a **** and kicking anything that moves.

Ferguson admitting that he had the numbers of referees.

I'm not suggesting that it's all rigged to make sure they win everything. What I'm suggesting is that when there is a big decision to make, all too often, the decision benefits United and the media ignore the injustice. The lack of this Scudamore story on SSN is pathetic. They benefit from favouritism so that the great unwashed can continue idolising them without ever being told what a shithouse of a club they are.
Me argufuckingmentative? Fuck that am I?! No chance. Never. Cheeky ****!

;-)

Well said, Kev.

To be fair as he implies, it must be pretty difficult for him to find the correct balance between making sure that united fans are happy and making sure the Premier League is to some extent competitive. I wonder what things he puts in place to try to keep this careful balance between fairness and making sure they are in shake up for the title? And as if it hasn't been difficult enough for him to maintain this balance over the years, united put moyes in charge. Scudamore's really got his work cut out now.

indeed. Is this the PL telling the garden gnome to get rid?

I presume us as mere football fans can't really do anything or highlight this to anyone?

Premier league is not fixed in any way shape or form however the rags have had way more leniency when it comes to disciplinary issues, players berating referess etc.
Of that there is no doubt and the subsequence of the leniency is for example having certain players available when ultimately they should have been banned...
I present to you the following....

Can't wait for Pidgeons excuse for this one....Ok he gets booked for the second one but its a straight red all day.Intent to hurt the man.

In the first vid, the conversation between Shrek and Clattenburg has clearly got nothing to do with the elbow to McCarthys head.

This was Shrek in his pre-weave days, as you can clearly see, whereas Clatt had just had his done, as you can clearly see.

Rooney was asking him if he himself should have one.

Clatt obviously was saying '' It wont make much difference, you'll still look like a twat''

On this occasion Clatt has been proved absolutely correct :)
