So there's an Irish and a Scottish girl in Peru.......

Re: So these two Irish girls in Peru

It never ceases to amaze me how many people think the government own their bodies. The number of freedom loving people is depressingly few. In all honesty, I don't think the number of freedom loving posters on this forum hits double digits.

We're the last of the young soul rebels.

The rest of them are too far gone.

Love of freedom should not be rebellious. It should be mainstay, but it isn't. I've always known it isn't but in a country where George Orwell is apparently revered for his foresight and genius, why do I feel so lonely carrying his torch?

It's depressing how well conditioned a lot of people seem to be. I agree, it shouldn't be seen as rebellious to think for yourself but not only it viewed as rebellious, it's also quickly on it's way to becoming illegal.

Telling the truth in a time of universal deceit is a revolutionary act. 2 + 2 = 4.

A few of us old farts are still onside, so don't despair entirely, although I'm more of a lefty do-gooder than a torch bearer nowadays.
The subtle irony that the right constantly bemoan a lack of individual freedom under socialism whilst curtailing it at every opportunity when in government is seldom lost on me.

Even if you are a minority of one, the truth is still the truth.

Re: So these two Irish girls in Peru

A bit strange how they don't know each other yet still fell for the same trick. Innocent till proven guilty. Well in a way they are guilty anyway, they was stupid enough not to alert the authority's at the airport. How can they possibly get away with this if they where threathened? Surely they'd still get some time for it.

Re: So these two Irish girls in Peru

So they were forced at gunpoint to become drug mules !

They had to fly out of the airport at Ibiza to Madrid and never had the chance to raise the alarm when in the airport ?
At Madrid the same thing and again when they landed.
When you are sat airside the only people with guns are the police so why not walk up to a stewardess and ask for help ?

Just askin'
