A female called Scot? Kill it before it breeds.

I thought they were both Irish, but one is Scottish. I thought about changing the thread title but it'd sound like the start of a joke

Innocent till proven guilty but... an all expenses paid holiday to Peru and £8k in cash what exactly did they think was happening?

Easy money, or so they thought.

A third of an a year's average salary to give away 20 years of life. Absolutely mental.

How incredibly stupid but they certainly wont be the last people to try it and get caught....waste of young lives. ...I feel for their families

They're either guilty as charged or horrendously stupid.

or forced into it.
The pair confirmed to police at the Lima airport that they had travelled to the South American country from Spain, and then on a Peruvian domestic flight to Cuzco.

Leftist guerrillas have funded their insurgency through the cocaine trade
worked as a hostess and model
They reportedly stayed four days in Cuzco, which is 350-miles south east of Lima, before returning to the capital.

Both women were detained the following day at Lima's Jorge Chavez International Airport.

The flight to Peru is fair enough (if they are backpackers for instance) but the domestic flight alarms me into think bullshit. They had enough opportunity to make someone aware of the their problems. The girl describes herself as clever in the sky article, if she was clever she'd have alerted someone and then sold her story. She's have earned more cash from this and not be spending 20 years in jail, silly split arse.

-- Tue Aug 13, 2013 10:36 pm --
