If any other team done this it would be a masterstroke,as its us its viewed ( wrongly) as the rules being bent,surprised one of the hacks hasn't spouted about us being docked points or some other bollocks to that effect,Wenger was up in arms over this but forgets he took henry on loan,what's the difference....

You never get far from the school yard whatever age you are.

So the school bully terrorises the other kids who try as hard as they can to be his friend. They all hate the school bully but accept
the status quo and rationalise it in their own mind. After a while the school bully moves on and picks on other newer kids.

The media are just a bunch of frightened school kids. City have made them all look small.

In time the media will fawn over us. Personally I think I prefer it as it is now. My only worry is the effect that they are having on us
attracting new fans within the UK & ROI. Globally it appears to be less of an issue.

The various governing bodies and referees are more of a concern.

Let’s look at this

1, There would not be a New York City if we’re not for Manchester City, do other clubs i.e. Chelsea not loan players or had loan players in the past , as far as I’m concerned it’s the end of any argument.

Our owner purchased land that was a desert totally polluted by chemical waste, converting it into the finest academy on this planet. In doing so used local labour to build the place, 80% of the materials used were sauced locally, it is now providing work for local people in the everyday running, enhancing the area itself.
Manchester City have never been behind the door when producing youth, this can only get better with the facilities provided.
Our youth teams at present are more than capable of holding their own, ask Bayer Munich who were turned over 6-0 nil a couple of weeks ago, just one of many.
Why should we be expected to bring English youth through the ranks, our academy was built to improve Manchester City’s position in the world so if this means that we have a healthy crop of foreign players who gives a toss, at the end of the day what has England done for Manchester City However, if we do produce a good crop of English players then fine.
