That's why you don't use iTunes. I'd be seriosuly tempted by a Macbook but for that crock of shit.

You don't have to use it. I have a macbook (the only apple device in the household), and don't use iTunes.
What do you use then?

Edit: Just seen you can get Winamp for the Mac. Might not be so bad then.

I use Google Play Music.

Get spotify. It's free streaming of all songs, you just listen to the odd advert, which is what pays for the royalties. It's all legal, and you can get it freeor pay about a tenner a month for the premium service which allows you to download tracks for offline playback.
If you have songs in your library it also sorts and catalogues all the saved music files for playback online or offline.
You don't get adverts if you own the track.

I've been using it for years. Can't fault it to be honest. I only used iTunes when I had the phone. Now I'm android I have no use for the ram sucking shite.

No Chris Rea on Spotify
Or Radiohead
Loads of bands are not licensing their material to them.

Just in case you needed a good reason to download it .......

Radiohead are on; I'm listening to them as I type!

Just had a look and there's 3 Chris Rea albums, plus stuff like Let's Dance is on various compilation albums - maybe not enough for the lone rabid Reaphile, but surely plenty for the casual listener?

What the hell are Apple playing at , if I wanted a U2 album I would have asked for one,

If a company did that to my PC it would be called Malware!

Not a good move by them

People moaning at a free gift, unbelievable.

To be fair it is the musical equivalent of having a dog turd pushed through your letterbox!
