Get spotify. It's free streaming of all songs, you just listen to the odd advert, which is what pays for the royalties. It's all legal, and you can get it freeor pay about a tenner a month for the premium service which allows you to download tracks for offline playback.
If you have songs in your library it also sorts and catalogues all the saved music files for playback online or offline.
You don't get adverts if you own the track.
I've been using it for years. Can't fault it to be honest. I only used iTunes when I had the phone. Now I'm android I have no use for the ram sucking shite.
