Is the next season the last of MJ's contract?
Not one appearance in the first team last season.
If only he could make it back to full fitness, he would be worth a fortune for us.
He must have had the best medical support last year but still blighted with injuries.

I thought his chance was last season. Injured or not it's too late, we've moved beyond the point where he would be a starter for many or any games.

never going to happen

we will let him go for free when his contract runs out

If he's fit for the new season and not loaned, he'll definitely play in the two cups (FA and Carling) and if he performs well in them, who knows. I think a loan is more likely but if he impresses on a loan on the last year of his contract (if that is true?) then once again we face transfer embarrassment (see: Caicedo and Guidetti).

Pre-injury Johnson was twice, nay thrice the player Jordan Henderson is. He is fit now isn't he, besides some minor setbacks that are common after long-term injuries?

Time to move on, Alcy who was starstruck and didnt have respect for the talent he had, wasted talent but time to move on, free with future sell on clause, wasted money on wage bill, we must have paid him 40k for two years for nowt.

agreed , what a shame , he will look back in years to come. plenty of young lads piss it up the wall though , unfortunately for him i think his chance has gone now.

Will never play for us again. Could have been an England captain of the future but injuries and his personal life have stopped that from happening. Id love to see him back in a City shirt but we've got to be realistic now and move on.

Vastly over rated, an average player in a poor team and nowhere near as good as he liked to think he was. The quotes at the time of him being the new Colin Bell were utterly disgraceful, not even fit to be mentioned in the same sentence.
