So what time did everyone get home and more.......

Set off from Wembley at about 8pm and got back to Morley for 12.30am. Then had to de-ice my car for the 30 minute drive to my house in Shipley and finally fell into bed at 1.15am this morning. Sat in work now trying not to nod off at my desk.
1st Wembley final and definitely worth being this shattered for!! :-)

21.28 from Euston...blagged it in 1st class, which was nice! The train was dry, but that really didn't matter...home at 01.30, brilliant weekend!

1:15 to Shipley, but our six and four year-old grandchildren had another hour's journey on to York with their dad.

We left Watford station at 9:15 and stopped at Donnington services for about 20 minutes.

The grandchildren both said it was the best day of their lives.

Luckily, it's my day off today. We got up at about midday.

I was on that train. The police seemed to have confiscated enough alcohol for a decent party.

Home for 1.

I got back home about 12.30 was a nightmare coming back on Wembley way it was packed. Glad I booked the day off today Shame my son couldn't have it off too.

Got into bed about 1:30 and was in work for 8am. Don't care, it was worth it and can catch up on sleep tonight.

23.00hrs and up again at 03.10hrs due to dehydration kicking in and my mouth feeling like the bottom of a bird cage, however nothing could wipe the smile off my face at work today.

I've now seen "ickle old City" dispatch the Rags, Chelsea and Dippers (along with Sunderland & Stoke) at Wembley, what a great time to be a Blue :-)

Just now...
but then again we didn't leave the Wembley Hilton till midday today

Home at 1 am. Winning certainly takes the edge off the frustrations of waiting over an hour to get out of the car park. One of our group and his eleven year old son had to travel on to Skipton so it would have been 2 o'clock when they arrived home on a school night. Whoever signed off on a 4.30 pm Sunday kick off wants a good slap.
