So what time did everyone get home and more.......

Beat this ! Mrs Banana and I will get back about 11pm on June 7th. We stayed at the Ibis last night and drove to Portsmouth today for ferry to Spain then drive to Portugal for a three month stay. Don't think we will have any trouble getting rid of our seasontickets for the five matches we miss!

Another one to add to the back at 1am club here. And also like plenty of others we got messed up by the closure of the M1 up near Leeds. Not my most productive days at work today if I'm being honest!

got back at 11-15 we used the A1 was quite. stopped at some services where there was some pool fans but they was eating or drinking and not looking at us

Just on train back from Euston now, but actually travelled down yesterday and back after game (home 00:15), had to be back in London this morning so flew back down on BA (8:35), what a difference that makes 45 mins(which includes 20 mins circuling Heathrow).

agree with previous poster waiting for tube at Wembley park was great , good old sing song.

About 12:15, fucked up with the motorway closed and was well out of the way before I realised so could have done it for 11:30, that was train to Banbury and drive back to Manchester from there, worked well, but I was knackered driving home, so will try and stay over next year...

That drive back is knackering. The emotions of the game take it out of you and then full on concentration needed for 3 hrs. It was busy virtually all the way back. It's surprising there aren't accidents every few miles.

Saw a couple. One involving 4 cars - didn't look too bad but airbags out.

Got to my mates at about 12:30, de-iced car and home for one. Went along M60 where it was closed and through Stockport, no delays. Got told off for making a noise when I came in, door banged and woke everyone up. Watched highlights on 5 on demand on TV , had a brew and two sandwiches and went to bed around 2, again waking up Mrs MB, before alarm went off at 6:30. Very tired today, had an hour when I got in. Won't sleep tonight!! Great day out. Mrs MB surprisingly not annoyed with me today even though I explained I just wanted to talk about my day as you usually ask!

Got home just after 11. Feeling it a bit today - it's been a while since I watched a whole game plus ET plus penners stood up but without any grief from the stewards!

Even though I live in Southampton, I think I might stay up if we get to another final, engineering works on the train lines meant a journey of 85 minutes usually, turned into a 2hr 25 minute trip back home, arrived back at 11:45pm.

What a great day though, so much for the Liverpool fans being noisy fuckers and always sticking by their team, hardly any of them even stayed to watch them pick up their runners-up medals.... YNWA indeed.

What a fantastic day. We stayed over and got back this afternoon. We had a good drink in Harrow on the Hill beforehand and stayed in the Sports bar near Wembley Park Station post match, great atmosphere with a decent juke box.

I got back around 12:30am, stuck in the poxy green car park for 2 hours after the imbiciles running it (CSP) shut all but one exit!! Saying that I was heading back to Kent so not as bad as fellow Blues heading back up the M6. All this tempered by a great performance by the lads and 'Big Willy' doing the biz!!! Hanging my head in shame after criticising his inclusion!!! A great day out giving my 10 year old lad a day out he will never forget..... Loads of noise from block 118 where we were!!!!!

1.30 got home .Had great laugh with guys from Blackley on our bus.Gareth Taylor you are a leg end
No Likey...No Litey

Went down on my own and just before kick off a guy come into our row looking for his seat. I check his ticket and tell him that he next to me, I then look at him proper and realise that he is someone who I used to play footy with , not seen him for 15 years .He moved to Bournemouth from Audenshaw .As we were both keepers we said thats it its in the stars Willy will be our hero today

12.30 for me. Traffic was heavy all the way but thankfully no accidents. I noticed the sign saying m60 shut. Did that affect anyone?

What did people do about those early trains they had booked back? I noticed a fair few of our fans left before the presentation.

What was the east side drinking like? We stayed on Euston Road in o'Neills and made the way to the ground from Kings cross. Mix of fans and decent banter in there.

For once I didn't see any trouble at all even between blues although I'm sure there may have been in other parts. We were in 508 and had a good view from row 9.

Knackered today though and "working from home this morning"

We were booked on the 8.35pm train home from Euston to Piccadilly so was always going to be a worry if it went to ET and pens, but I took on board what you said the other week about buying match tickets located close to a gangway in the lower tier and on the side of our area of the ground closest to Wembley Way - I didn't really want to spend £72 on a ticket but it became a bit of necessity because of the train situation and we ended up with some great seats in 107. Watched Kompany lift the cup then dived out and legged it all the way down Wembley Way past thousands of Liverpool fans which meant we were near the front of the queue for the tube and only had to wait about 5 minutes to get on it. Pissed it in the end as we were back at Euston for about 8pm so even had time for a couple of quick pints in the Bree Louise! Got back to Piccadilly for about 11.30pm.
