I always respected Alan Hanson’s decision to recognise he had loss touch with the next generation of players and not renew his contract. What a shame Lineker didn’t have the same integrity, can’t think why...?£...:)

Lineker is just the host though, he does a pretty decent job of being amiable and asking the pundits. He isn't supposed to offer insight, unfortunately he is asking Danny Murphy, Jermain Jenas and Martin Keown to do that, so he's turned up to a gun fight with a spoon

Alex has proven herself to be a really good pundit,less of the old boys tired old cliches and more explaining why the player did what he did

That might be true, I don't know, but I think they will struggle for viewers if she's on there alongside two other people that haven't played the game to a decent standard e.g. Morrison and Warnock. Although saying that, I'm not sure anyone tunes into Soccer Saturday for football insight anyway.

Honestly, they could replicate the current model on the cheap by literally grabbing any 3 men out of any local pub each week. Exact same insight, exact same banter, millions less in wages

A bit mental that the very first reaction of some people is to stress out and voice concern that three people who add little (le tiss) or no insight (the other two) might be replaced by someone who is black or a woman.

How about just celebrating thatthe program might improve and judging any new pundits on what they do in the role.

Warnock makes Merson look like a genius. He is terrible.

Ex-players who retired over 25 years ago have no real insight into the modern game so these lot had to go. No idea why Merson would be kept on - he's the worst of the lot. No real hope ex-Dippers won't be appointed unfortunately. Clinton Morrison - never heard him say anything of insight either.

Unfortunately thats the way the media operate these days. Its not about talent or ability to do the job anymore. its about fitting in with the latest woke agenda.
So i`m going for someone who has variable pronouns that they use dependent on which day it is.
