Soccer Saturday Sackings

If they're gonna get people in who played at a higher level and are more qualified to talk about the game than them then I think it'll be something worth watching. If it's Clinton Morrison, Darren Bent, Stephen Warnock, Alex the women's footballer, or anyone else then I think people will tune out.

I always respected Alan Hanson’s decision to recognise he had loss touch with the next generation of players and not renew his contract. What a shame Lineker didn’t have the same integrity, can’t think why...?£...:)
Lawrenson has got to be next. He has been terrible for years

Irritating part, not that I watch it much anyway, is that they will no doubt go all pc with it now which will be painful.

Alex has proven herself to be a really good pundit, less of the old boys tired old cliches and more explaining why the player did what he did

When you look at the way Sky covers so many other sports, I'm thinking here of golf, F1 and especially cricket, the route it has gone down with the coverage of football has been nothing short of atrocious. Soccer Saturday has been at the forefront of this clichéd banter type style that adds absolutely nothing. Definitely time for a rebrand of the show and to bring some fresh blood to the panel.
