Lineker is just the host though, he does a pretty decent job of being amiable and asking the pundits. He isn't supposed to offer insight, unfortunately he is asking Danny Murphy, Jermain Jenas and Martin Keown to do that, so he's turned up to a gun fight with a spoon

I don’t mind Linekar, either and I think he does a pretty decent job as the presenter/host.
