Soccer Saturday...

I haven't watched that show, but have watched a local preview of the season, with three lads who work as comentators for the SportKlub TV, anyway...even though they are red, they have city second simply for the fact that they put in performances that can rank them on the barcelona level, but then again at times it all looks disjointed like the community shield so they are not sure if they can mount a serious challenge on manure for the title, and don't think that chelsea is as strong as city...and basically the prediction is that balotelli will either leave before of after mancini but mancini will be the first one to leave...

their order of end of the season table order is 1 manure 2 man city 3 chelsea 4 liverpool 5 tottenham 6 arse (that's for the top 6)

And have an average age of 49. People should be told to explain themselves if they're going to talk shite about Chelsea.

I'm predicting:

Decent praise by Le Tissier
Merson swallowing his pride and saying we will finish above Arsenal
Big nose saying it all depends on if we gel
Nicholas saying we will finish 2nd.

All of them saying Mancini needs to let the shackles off a bit.

Then how come I've seen that Wooney overhead kick nine times already today?
Err, because it won the derby in the last minute and despite what people say, was a fantastic goal?
If Balotelli had scored that, this place would have him down as some kind of god. He didn't though. It was a great goal, no doubt about that.

Errrr, there are loads of brilliant goals scored week in, week out. If they were running every brilliant goal scored last season at the rate of 5 times an hour, there wouldn't be much space for anything else. And it was a shinner.

They are consummate rag lovers.

Don't tell me Sky don't have form for this sort of shite, either. There's a long tradition of it.
You are the most bitter poster on here. Like I say, if Balotelli had done that to them at that point of the game, the word 'shinner' would never once have been mentioned by anyone on here, it simply would have been the goal of the season. Lose the blue specs, they embarrass you.
It. Was. A. Fantastic. Goal.
The fact its advertised on there all the time is because United are the champions, and that was their most iconic goal of the season. I can see that, but then again I don't don blue specs so I find it easy to do.

You are talking Rag.

And unprovoked personal attacks never reflect well on the person doing the attacking. Read my posts, back up what you're just said, if you care to. Read my posts and back up what you've just said or lay off.

If they sign Modric and Torres comes good and we sign Nasri I expect a three way battle for the title. Otherwise we should overhaul them. Arsenal will definitely be weaker after losing Fabregas and Nasri so I'd discount them if that happens. As for the rags, I think they'll be weaker. Jones will be a squad player. De Gea isn't as good as VDS, and Young, is an alright signing but is really the replacement for Giggs who irritatingly is still a top player but that does mean effectively no added value but you'd still expect them to lose balance from the midfield with Scholes gone as well. Cleverly probably adds the most to that team but isn't Scholes either. So, either a straight fight between us and those fuckers or a three way with nothing between us at the end of the season.

As a highly qualified English teacher I really must complain about the people that Sky employ. I could mention Gary Chuckle, Phil Thompson and others but today my wrath is reserved for that Cockney junkie, Paul Merson.

"If Tevez stays they'll be a real fret". Sorry, Mr. Merson, the grapheme 'th' is a dental consonant, not a labio-dental one. The correct pronunciation is threat.

"He ain't done great". Well, I'm sorry, but ain't is complete 100% slang. The correct form of the verb 'to be' in third person singular, present simple is 'isn't'. The word 'great' is an adjective; here, you need an adverb like 'well'.

And he has the nerve to say that Tevez needs to learn English!!!!!!!!!!!!
YCMIU!!

Rant over!

i think Sky have been featuring City a lot more over the past 2 years than they ever had, from having snippets of the club appearing, like in the build up to the games with our ground in the background ( the ford ads ).
they massively covered the pre-season open training, they followed all the fa cup celebrations at the ground.

i agree with whoevers just said a lot of people on here wear blue glasses, i'm guilty of it myself most times, i just don't think they're as heavily tinited as most others.

oh, but i do think paul merson needs taking of the face of planet, hes a prize c*nt

I expect a lot of criticism for this comment but ever since I joined this forum I've been saying he is the man to bring you close to the top, but he'll never bring you to the top...your game plan has no fluidity, no plan b, you grind out your results, which would be nothing unusual if it was against the likes of manure, arsenal, or chelsea, but it is against fulhams, boltons, wigans and such...he has players that make football look magic, but he can't bring them to produce it on a daily basis...it is the same reason why he was sacked at inter...

How is calling someone a rag different to me saying you are bitter? Hardly 'attacks' are they? Sensitive much?
Like I say, lose the specs and see it all for what it is. Life is so much easier that way, and less bitter.

A talking rag?!!!
