I think she's been penalised for the push just before the last corner not the corner itself where she clearly did nothing wrong.

I didnt think that was a push, she was penned out of the 500m for taking out a runner in front of her,she had the speed, and more left in the locker, bastards.

I was watching the Swiss tv coverage where they pretty much called it before the result was shown then turned over to the BBC who didn't even see the incident. Red White and Blue tinted specs have made a martyr out of her. Guess it sells more than "she made an error".

I watched it over and over and still think it wasn't a 'push'. It seemed clear to me that when she 'changed lanes' she had room to manoeuvre, on the inside, and simply maintained her speed with a slight lean. Such contact is permissible in high speed skating and it didn't cause the Chinese girl to deviate her line.
In retaliation, the Chinese girl tried the same move but ran out of incoming line and Christie kept hers, as was her right.
She has been penalised for the opposite of her first incident in these W.O. and the other woman got away with it!!
