As long as you’re mentally strong and realise it’s all make believe then it’s a positive thing for work and play.
Some guys on here have 60-100k posts and moan about social media. They literally waste their days arguing with other middle aged men on a footy forum with the occasional foray over to pornhub yet they want to throw stones at others -LOLBM is a form of social media. Always amazes me when posters on here think they’re whiter than white. All the issues they raise with Twitter, etc., can also be found on here (and any other forum - do not read this as a dig to this site, simply an observation that these posters aren’t necessarily better than others because they don’t have a Twitter / FB account, etc.).

It does when you’re on here 24/7 getting all aggro with people you’ve never met. As I said if you’re mentally strong none of the stuff should effect you negatively.BM has no influence on society.
FB, Insta etc has an impact on people's social behaviour outside the platform. It is in some respects people's life. I got rid of my FB account years a go and feel great for it.
Good and bad really. Great for people like drone and Brooklands to arrange their sex parties I guess.
In general on BM as well we all have the same interests at heart and thats City. Twitter for me is the worst and got rid of it last year. I followed really only certain things of interest on there and mainly City stuff, however the amount of bile and hatred towards anything City related just became depressing and almost becomes obsessive. I like BM, its on the whole City fans discussing City and then some random other Cellar shite that often makes me laugh. Yes people argue and fall out, but its nowhere near the level of anger and hatred that spills out of twitter.BM has no influence on society.
