sod the champions league

Foley, I left on 84 mins because I have to walk right round the stadium to catch my bus to town (being in ESL Block 107). Live with it.

It's the ones that don't attend at all that you should have a gripe with, pal.

i didn't attend but saw the crucial last ten mintutes, unlike yerself. why go to the effort and expense when you miss the most important bits?

What the club should do is put a steward on the end of every aisle, when anyone gets up to fuck off he/she has to justify to the steward just why he/she's fuckin off and if their 'excuse' isn't good enough or they haven't brought a 'dear sir' note with them clearly stating a valid 'excuse' from their parents(who might be in their 90's)then the steward should make sure he/she stays put til the end, that'd sort them lesser fans out

The club could reduce loyalty points for home games but offer bonus points if fans clock out after full time.Ticket machine at every aisle. The cost to implement them would be offset by the heightened atmosphere at the end of games ,better chance of scoring late goals and maybe just maybe the difference between winning the league and coming second. For the chance to see this i'd gladly sit in traffic for an hour extra with an itchy hole

^^^^^^^fuckin this^^^^^^^^^^^

tremendous idea

I left early once. It was about -10 and i was on the cusp of hypothermia. Otherwise, the rule that i live by is that when the final whistle goes, dont hang about- make haste. Leave before that, and you're doing the footballing equivalent of farting in front of your gran. You just don't do it, and if you do, you ought be embarrassed about it. There's no shame in it for too many. And I appreciate that some may - hundreds - have extremely valid reasons for having to make an early dart... 15,000 valid reasons seems a bit of a push and i assume some of them could do worse than have a word with themselves.

Just don't park on the Eastlands site. Ever.

i have been going to city since early 70,s and dont like leaving early. if once or twice i have left in injury time i,m always thinking ..whose got the ball whats happening whose on the attack whats that roar ! i,m addicted to city and dont understand why fans leave with over 10-15 minutes left .but then again its not my problem ..each to their own. i just know its not the way my head works

Remember when people queued up to get IN the stadium at three-quarter time? Now people are running to get out of the stadium.

Personally, the only thing i'm guilty of is going for a pint on 35-40 minutes. If i don't do that, as i'm in 109 i could be waiting right up until the start of the second half which has happened on a couple of occasions. One bar covering 109-111 so it gets very busy!

But i do stay until the stadium is empty at the end. Rather sit, reflect on the game, let everyone bang their legs crushing the isles and i jog up when completely clear.
