Pmsl, one can sing the other has never been able too.

Noel.

Curtis, Rotten, Strummer............None of them could really 'sing'....great frontmen though IMO . Noel ? Loved early Oasis and his songwrighting....in terms of charisma not even close to Ian Brown for me.

I've seen them both live, Noel gets the attention of the entire crowd, were as Ian brown, everyone just sings along without ever giving him much attention.

Fair does Al. I've seen the Roses twice and Oasis 4 times. Exactly the other way round for me. Each to their own though....

Lol !!! Is true. I think anyone going to watch the Roses and expecting Brown to be a geat singer is missing the point of the Roses though....still a great charismatic frontman for me though.

Re: Solo/Frontman Ian Brown Vs Noel Gallagher Dio Round 40

There are some proper knobs on this Brown v Noel thread.

Noel is very good but has never been a 'frontman'. He was a guitarist in Oasis and has been a solo artist since (with a few musicians 'supporting' him in his 'band' Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds).

Ian Brown cant sing? come back after you've listened to the following one example of many:

And if you want 'live' vocals:

And if you want 'frontman cool':

I like Noel and think he's beltin but Brown absolutely shites on Noel.
