I almost lost control of my bowels when I saw this round.
Hendrix being IMHO one of the all-time greats. Certainly don't recall anyone before or since who could play with that sense of freedom. A genuine and uniquely talented musician.
Elvis? Well he had a good voice but, then again, so do lots of people. If Elvis was born 20 years later, what impact would he have on the development of popular music? Probably very little. He was no musician, no composer, no arranger.
Hendrix would have stood out in any generation. Got to be Hendrix.
