Solo/Frontman *FINAL* Mick Jagger Vs David Bowie

Re: Solo/Frontman Eddie Vedder Vs Kurt Cobain Round 24

Vedder. And I'm far more qualified than anyone on here to comment including Damocles.

:)

Vender has no personality. Boring and the music as shit.

Vedder boring, have you ever seen a Pearl Jam gig, please check out youtube ;-)

I'll never forget the day I first listened to Ten by Pearl Jam. My cousin gave me a couple of vinyls and one CD and told me the CD was a new band and that it was simply brilliant.

He was right. Their second album was even better!

PJ's drummer has been in three of the greatest bands ever. That's some achievement.

Vs is a tour de force of an album and arguably the best alternative rock record made in the 90's.

Some of the snobby contingent of PJ's fans don't rate Matt, they say he has made them play faster, even for 'slow' songs. I don't see it myself, probably due to my lack of musical knowledge.

I tend to agree with that. Not sure he plays much faster, but he certainly plays with less of the feel that Irons had or the sheer power of Dave A. Dave will always be the Pearl Jam drummer for me. As a live band they were never as good again as they were with him behind the kit. I'm splitting hairs though because they may never have been as good as they were with Dave again, but they are still better than 99% of the live bands out there.

I think he's great in Pearl Jam and superb in Soundgarden. I'll take PJ's members choice over some fans choice every day of the week :)

They're working on a new album as we speak. Hope it's better than the last as I consider it their weakest.

Got to agree that Dav.A was my favourite as well, love Matt Cameron and Love Jack Irons style but they just seemed faster, harder and heavier with Dave, Vs would not have been the album it was without him.

Vedder Vs Cobain isnt even a close call, Eddie would embarass Cobain both Lyrically and Musically.
