Obviously Lou Reed. He changed music forever with The Velvet Underground. Beck is bloody good, but Lou Reed is one of a handful of true legends. And the work he did with Bowie and Ronson is about as good as it gets.

Jackson was the ultimate performer , but Marvin Gaye was an incredible talent ......

very tough to separate these two , and against anyone else Marvin Gaye would undoubtedly hold his own ....

but , in this case , it has to be Michael Jackson ... just !

Margin Gaye excellent but Jackson was just so original. It has to be Jackson for me.
