Prince is a possibly a genius.

Jackson, at his best, was insanely good but for me, it has to be Prince.

Might well simply come down to Prince excelling in areas I'm interested in such as writing and guitar whilst Jackson excelled in areas I'm not too interested in or really know how to appreciate such as dancing. Not an insult, he was a proper pop star.

Jackson changed so many aspects of music from production, videos, the whole dancing movements in videos etc....

His voice singing Rockin Robin as a youngster through to Off the wall, Thriller, Bad even parts of history and dangerous, he moved the goal posts of what people expected from artists.

Prince was much cooler and a stone wall genius but no on can compete with Jackson (maybe Elvis)
