Something Odd Going on with Tevez

pick your fave.

I'd want to see there faces before I choose! not got a frontal?

Sorry but no - if you were worried that they were minging just stick to doggy style - I'm sure the rear view would be adequate enough to ensure that a result was achieved well within the 90 minutes and extra time was not required.

Tevez is pissing me off with this Argentina bullshit, move your family over here for fucks sake, you have been playing in England for 4 years now its not like its a new thing.

I'm fairly sure his wife and daughter were over here when he was with the rags but couldn't settle and went back to Argentina, where his other daughter was born last year.

If ronney can take 2 weeks off for doing nowt! Then I am sure we can let Tevez see his family for a week or so? I still think he'll be back for the 10th! Can't seeing wanting to miss that one!

He hasn't gone back specifically for the treatment though, has he? I thought (and I may well be wrong) that he couldn't play and so was given time off to be with his family back in Argentina, but he would receive treatment there also (i.e. - the treatment was not the main resaon for his return).

Now Mancio's decided that he shouldn't be getting back on a plane until he's fully recovered from the dead leg as doing so may hamper his injury further?

Exactly. And there was no point coming back until Thursday since the squad will be away in Poland until then anyway. Those extra few days with his family will be priceless to him.

Tevez is being given the time to touch base with his family while recovering properly from a dead-leg. And quite rightly so. To me it shows that the club have the player's interests at heart.

Of course there may well be a more sinister reading of the situation but I just can't understand a proper Blue thinking that way. He's our talisman and we need to do everything we can to keep him happy and giving 100%. Let's face it, he always gives that, so I reckon he's earned the club's respect and trust. And that includes from the fans too.

Too many drama queens around these days. It's all a bit pathetic really.

Disagree - a LOT pathetic.

Maybe we could call his commitment into question when he stops running around like a madman - until then people should shut up and let the people who really know whats going on deal with him.

I think it's a great idea letting him have a break - shows that his commitment and enthusiasm on the pitch is appreciated by the club.

For a start, no player needs to fly half way accross the world for treatment on a simple Dead Leg. Especially in the middle of a run of key games.

Also, Kidd was interviewed on RAdio 5 on Saturday and, pretty much unprompted, said "Noone knows what went on between Tevez and The Boss besides those two. It will all be sorted". And he wasn't referring to the dressing room bust up.

Something's happened I think.

Dismal Dave strikes again.... lol

The club are clearly giving Tevez special treatment... and a leeway in terms of timelines that is not extended to other players.

Those pretending otherwise are being naive in the extreme.

I cannot think of one game where I have faulted his work-rate ... so if any of City's players deserve this ... it is Carlos.

BUT... we have to be careful about distinguishing between "exceptional" compassionate leave ( as was extended to RM to go and see his dad) and a semi-permanent state of homesickness/ "family issues" which are not going to go away.

As someone said earlier...Tevez has been happy to sign very lucrative Premier League contracts, but wants to engineer extra time-off in Argentina at every opportunity.

The staggering thing about all this is that so far it does not seem to have affected his performances on the pitch, but pretty soon (i.e. by the end of this season) you get the feeling that the guy has to decide whether his family / social life is more important than his bank balance.
