Something Odd Going on with Tevez

That was just one example though, alot of what i have read from you hasn't been discussion worthy, it's been mainly "you are an idiot because you don't have the same opinion as me", but that could just be that you encounter alot of people who cannot have discussions and when you get one that comes along like me your true colours come out ;-)

Here's what I posted earlier today as well...really shows how 'negative' my agenda is...;- )

I actually don't think we're at the situation where games are becoming 'pivotal'. On the field there's been plenty to be proud of this season - even if there have been the odd major fuck ups. A few weeks back we beat Chelsea and we were all saying we could be title contenders...

The key is Mancini getting all the players singing from his hymn sheet (if they aren't already), and finding a way to stop the steady stream of negative 'leaks'...

To nick a line from Boardwalk Empire...one hand washes the other, and both hands wash the face. Take note Roberto...

All everyone wants is for City to do well. Some criticize Mancini, some criticize the players, some criticize neither and are just happy to be on the ride...

But sometimes in order for the club to do well we have to not over react at any set backs and not fuel the fire that the press will be jumping at the chance to do as has been evident last few days.

I think it is fair to say that some on here have been waiting for the chance to witness a blip so they can come on here and tell everyone how right they were with their opinions which i find pathetic and harmfull as there are alot of people on here who are sheep who will follow whatever the majority of saying at that time because they are unable to form an opinion of their own.

Alot of people on here, including yourself, have accused alot of people of being a happy clapper and that everything in the garden is rosey which is unfair and also untrue. Every single one of those people were not happy at what happend on Saturday, i wasn't, it put me in a bad mood, but we weren't all reaching our phones to call for the managers head as that will solve nothing.

I for one am very happy with Mancini in charge and want him to be in charge for a long time as i beleive he will be good for us. He isn't perfect for us yet as he himself has only been here 10 months, you don't come into a foriegn country, build a side and automatically get the rewards, citing Ancellotti and Mourinho is a poor comparison as they already had title and champions league winning squads when they arrived, something that Mancini has had to build himself and is still a year away from completing IMO.

As for the inability to have discussions on bluemoon anymore which you have been saying the last few days, that is true but it has mainly come from those who have been hounding Mancini for daring to manage a side that loses two in a row. We are 4th, one foot in the last 32 of the europa league and still with a squad is still finding their feet and has yet to put out what i would consider the managers best eleven. Where is the crisis or the need for change? Fair enough if we were 4 or 5 points behind the top 4, out of the title race and struggling in europe but we are not so why are there even discussions on his future when we are in the posistion we are in?

trajectory?

That was answered by someone else the other night. It only applied to Hughes as he wasn't ADUG's man....

I know... but I also know people who know these people (in a professional sense) and they simply will not countenance failure so Mancini's position, in my opinion, is not beyond reproach regardless of the fact that he was an ADUG pick.

I have said elsewhere tonight that I am worried by the lack of noise from the boardroom.

It seems scarily familiar to Hughes' last few days.

:-(

What? When there was no noise from anywhere until hours before he was sacked, dispite the deal being done 3 days previous?

You're endorsing the point.

I'm talking about in the press.

I think you may be at cross purposes but you're (still) endorsing fbloke's point. He's saying there was a silence (from the board) regarding MH's position in the press immediately prior to his sacking... similar for RM now; though it doesn't necessarily follow, of course.
