Queen and queen 2 where definitely good albums , particularly liked the track Brighton rockThe early albums are excellent, almost prog rock to me. One of my favourite tracks is “You Take My Breath Away” from Day At The Races. Also “Mustapha”, you get funny looks playing that at full volume!
Nah I love that one!Sweet home fucking Alabama!
It was written in response to Neil Young's songs "Southern Man" and "Alabama", which the band felt blamed the entire Southern United States for slavery; Young is name-checked and dissed in the lyrics. It reached number eight on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1974, becoming the band's highest-charting single.Sweet home fucking Alabama!
"By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yeah we wept, when we remembered Zion."

I always thought that lyric was 'Do you remember Simon'. I remember thinking as a kid, who the fucks Simon. I suppose I've always been a bit simple ;-)"By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yeah we wept, when we remembered Zion."
