#SOO Save Our Olé Season III.....Ole, The Trilogy.....We've Failed.....Thank You Ole.

The only way they will entice top players is by offering such over the top transfer fee's everyone else will pull out and then offer crazy salaries as we have seen.
In my opinion it won't matter who manages them whilst the ghost of Ferguson still prowls the corridors. The best thing the club could do is say thank you but stay away to him and not have him at every game gazing down on the manager. Total clearout, top to bottom is needed. Luckily they will not do that

I'm not sure how much baconface is a detriment to the manager. The choirboy's big handicap is Woodward, who knows fuck all about football, but loves making money for the Glazers. Not sure a DoF will help them while they have these greedy owners and an ignorant CEO.
Long may it continue !

As a former manager (Keighley and Craven league, Div 4), I offer myself for the job. They will only twig that I'm a blue when they find themselves in the Lancashire Combination.

Fixed.

Actually I totally agree with you. It's something I've been saying for years. Whoever takes over they will always have that sense of the unwritten law 'must please the Govan despot' around the place. If a new manager comes in and wants to sign a player he'll have to have the approval of the Pisscan first. If a new manager wants try a few things out on the training ground the Pisscan must run the rule over it first.

It's a dilemma for whoever takes over at the swamp. If he's any good the evil lord will be watching to ensure he's not TOO good. The last thing the bacon-faced bully wants is someone to usurp him by challenging (or even bettering) his legacy. That way he'd lose his self-created aura of invincibility. But a manager who will come in and just keep things ticking over nicely, maybe the odd trophy here and there, regular Thursday night football for the plastic lemmings. I mean, let's be honest, their days as a regular member of the top 4 are over, if only for the foreseeable future. They've become bit-part players in a major Hollywood blockbuster, just minor members of the supporting cast on the world stage.
But this would be sufficient for the alcoholic tyrant because he'd still be the undisputed king of the big fish in the little pond scenario, a situation that would suit him until the grim reaper comes calling.

How are you going to manage that? They've already tried signing loads of shite players for ridiculous fees on stupidly high wages and letting them lose any pretence they had of fitness, the problem now is the favourable refereeing, the blind luck and the Stockholm syndrome like inexplicable surrendering of points from the opposition.

Until Utd get a top quality Director of Football, they're fucked. Not only that they have to choose a style of play to play at at all levels and then get a manager and players to suit the system. No sign of that either, so they're fucked.
As a result Bluemoon will be running "Save our <Insert Managers Name Here>" threads for many a long year. Which is fantastic news for me.

I don't want to save any of the fuckers.i just want each one to spend long enough to spunk shitloads on crap players in their style to be then replaced by total opposite type of manager who then has to completely change the team only for it all to go tits up again.rinse and repeat

Too good for em! I'll raise you a Steve McClaren....

He would be able to cash in on the Dutch league players on the cheap.
Fluent.
