No matter what the result today, I trust that the media will be a bit kinder to Ole than they were after his last match in charge against the noisy bullies from across his home town. The way those bullies got away without criticsm for hogging the ball for nearly the whole game was a disgrace. Poor Ole - he was very upset and almost lost for words afterwards, but the media were merciless and showed their true blue colours; calling for his head, regardless of his Mancunian DNA. Not a word about how his day was spoiled by the blue bullies who kicked off and then didn't give his ball back. I understand that Ole and his spiritual father, Slur Alex, were inconsolable that night.
So, here we are. Off to Watford in Noddy's little car - which the media laughingly refer to as a bus. Phelan and Carrick have been working on their plans all week, and Ole's going to fire the boys up telling them not to be afraid of Watford, despite their reputation as footballing aristocracy, based near that London. Watford; the history; Barnes, Blissett, Elton John.
Come on boys! Listen to Noddy. Be inspired by your DNA. Nick nack paddy whack, whack the ball away! Kick that ball and win the game today!
Yes - beat those Watford wallies!
And if you don't.........mind the Gap!
