I think if she hadn't hit the other car and got herself airborne, the result would have been a lot worse. Macau is a street circuit, and the Armco is very hard. As it was she went over the Armco into a mesh net, while still very dangerous, her deceleration as a lot less than it would have been if she'd hit the Armco outright.

I don’t go to motor sport events as I’d rather get a ball in the mush than a racing car.... Very lucky lady, glad she and all at the event are ok...
