You're well within your rights mate. Personally I'd recommend you downgrade to a 'Blue' and go to matches you fancy here and there rather than struggle.
I am saving for house and have a child. Food, drink, travel and ticket cost over 100 each game hence I'm a 'Blue' rather than ST. You cut cloth accordingly, my gravest fear is that people cannot even be 'Blues' and are confined to television viewing only due to cost.

I think I prefer a seasoncard because I'm in an area heavily populated by regulars and it's nice to sit where there's some kind of atmosphere and community. Just shy of £27 a time is good value when I know I'll still almost always be there regardless. Missed just Villa in the League Cup (external commitments) and Villa in the League (had the shits.)
