I wouldn't be paying £507 for a seasoncard if we weren't able to offer the quality of football and strength of opposition we presently do. I'm going to have to have a long think about renewing next season because it's costing me every spare penny I have. And I write this as a single guy in a reasonable job with no kids to support.

You're well within your rights mate. Personally I'd recommend you downgrade to a 'Blue' and go to matches you fancy here and there rather than struggle.

I am saving for house and have a child. Food, drink, travel and ticket cost over 100 each game hence I'm a 'Blue' rather than ST. You cut cloth accordingly, my gravest fear is that people cannot even be 'Blues' and are confined to television viewing only due to cost.

I think I prefer a seasoncard because I'm in an area heavily populated by regulars and it's nice to sit where there's some kind of atmosphere and community. Just shy of £27 a time is good value when I know I'll still almost always be there regardless. Missed just Villa in the League Cup (external commitments) and Villa in the League (had the shits.)

Being an ex-pat I have rediscovered the infamous shared ST from my student days.
Basically I use it when in Manc (not often) and my dad and brother take turns when I´m away.

If we would split the cost it would be a very affordable sum compared to us buying individual tickets now and then.

I'd rather outclass them with our own version of the game (whatever that might become), not theirs.
