Don't forget the handbags between the managersLike the fact that Souness talked about it being a “man’s game” in a match where one of the main talking points was a player pulling another player’s hair.

It would be different, because womens football is different in its own right, it is a mans game he’s watching and commenting onThat was my initial thought, but actually there is a point here. He might be perceived as assuming that if it was women playing the game then it would be different in a particular, specific way.
Whereas if you actually watch a game of womens football they actually kick the shit out of each other as happily as the men, just more slowly and with less technical ability.
He could’ve been more clear perhaps by saying “it’s a human’s game” or “it’s not a game for softy namby-pamby animals like cats”.
Or maybe he could have said “I’m talking purely about mens football here, as a pundit that is commentating on a mens football game: it’s a mens game.” The first bit shouldn’t need saying, but we are where we are.
Hes on with Simon Jordan on talksport tomorrow, no chance will he apologise.
Disagree that they’d change it as it would mean blokes would also be able to play women’s football no?If there was I think in this day and age it would be changed.
Who cares what he was commenting on its not a "man's game " its a boys, girls women's everyones game ! That's the reason why dinosaurs like him deserve a bollocking. He was commenting on a man’s game. Women in being outraged shocker
