BBC text reckons it was harsh, personally i think deliberately moving to block a quick free kick being taken (which is what they guy did) should be a yellow card every time. Just cynical play, not punishing it promotes giving away deliberate fouls to slow down attacks.

For me it was a definite booking, the lad on the left would have been in if he hadn't stopped the free-kick. He knew exactly what he was doing and deserved the booking. I often think I could have been a ref if it wasn't for my ridiculous bias if City or United were playing!
