One of my very favourite South Park scenes. Anyway, I'm looking forward to the eighteenth season of South Park which starts on the 24th of September.

Did that episode get the bullet or was it aired?
It got aired as I definitely saw it. Very, very good programme. Some of the musical bits bore me, but the rest of it is great. Love Cartman.

South Park is several leagues above Family Guy.

They're different animals. Family Guy isn't quite as political as South Park, and I wouldn't really compare them to each other.

It was just a funny clip, I didn't want this turning into a FG v SP thread :-)
It's too late for that now.

It sure is lol. I love em both, so I'm on the fence then.

That's Trey's background for you - he's a musician.
That said, I loved the musical numbers in Team America - that film was a work of sheer genius, and gets more relevant as time goes by. The aids song makes me laugh even now.

I must be one of the only South Park fans not to like Team America I think. There are some brilliant moments but otherwise I didn't find it very funny. Bit harsh on Trey and Matt though. They worked 17+ days during the filming of that. Penn Jillette tells a good story of visiting on their last day on set:

The Book of Mormon is also deeply brilliant.

Two very very talented men, especially Trey. Managed to score front-row seats for Book of Mormon in that ticket lottery thing. £20 for the front row!

Saw it a couple of weeks ago.

Brilliant.

Apart from Brian throwing Seth McFarlane's Liberal Agenda down our throats every episode. (And I lean more to the left than not)

I haven't found Family Guy funny since it was reinstated after it's cancellation and even watching old episodes makes me cringe a bit. It is literally cut away gags with a weak narrative and at best was and is hit and miss, South Park genuinely always gets a laugh out of me, but that's my two pence.

I love South Park and most of the stuff Trey and Matt are involved with. I hope I will get to see The Book of Mormon at some point. I know they are planning on doing a movie, but I would like to see the musical first.

Trey really knows how to write a comedic song.

This always makes me smile.
