About the lack of a guard of honour, Hughes said it wasn't his decision and Southampton had talks with City about it. Youth players from both youth accadamies came out with the players.

Hope all blues selected go on to have injury free World cups. really worries me when i see blue players down .I Thought apart from his pass for GJ goal KDB looked knackered and needs a good rest before he embarks on a WC. Full credit yesterday to the ever improving Danilo and much maligned Bravo.

Maybe City said don't bother; in which case, fair enough. They did line up a lot of kids but I was surprised when both teams walked out together. Anyway, the most important thing by far was that goal by Jesus...
