Southampton (A) - Post Match Thread

Sterling has always missed plenty of these sort of chances.
He will continue to do so,as well as scoring plenty of them too.

Frustrating player at times,so he's always going to attract criticism, warranted or not.
For some reason football is very easy nowadays and we’re expected to win every single game we play, home or away. When we don’t win, then there has to be a reason and if Sterling is on the pitch then it seems to be an easy out, regardless of the way the other 10 play.

Across the board, we were very poor in the 1st half and Southampton exploited that with their counter. Foden and Grealish didn’t do anything of note so the fact that Sterling actually got somewhere was a bonus, but frustrating.

My overarching concern with the first half was the lack of coherent play across the back and midfield, as well as the loss of the intricate play.

What about tha boring twat Alan Smith for that Laporte goal "I think this might be ruled out you know, He looked offside".

Shit boring wanker.
He was hoping.

Obviously doesn't have the influence of Spitty or Red Nev in getting Stockley Park to rule in their favour.

Not even Sterling would defend that miss. The sub was the right call. He'll be a match winner for us again though and will shut a few people up

maybe

but you have to take both criticism and praises
