Plenty will be said about our lacklustre performance, but…

The ref stops the game several times in stoppage for Soton “injuries”, ignores Jesus being down, calls free kicks instead of advantages for us once we equalised, then blows at exactly 6 minutes after ignoring a clear penalty and red card.

As I said in a different thread, the fix is in. The league wants a title race and the refs are under orders to help make that happen whenever we aren’t blowing teams away.

Credit to Southampton....

Played very well in the first half and scored a very good goal....then defended superbly individually and as a team....that lad at the back (salasouh or however you spell it) was superb in everything he did.

Didnt think it was a penalty to start with but it should have been a sending off

Should show some people that the season is far from over.....6 pts ahead if scousers win their games in hand....Hopefully Palace do us a favour tomorrow

But the referee was a disgrace, constant time wasting left unpunished. Blatant red card missed.

TWO red cards! Just sick of this bunch of biased bunch of officials. I literally can not name 1 decent unbiased ref.
