McAtee.....won't be noticed until someone remembers he's on the pitch, and he gets hauled after 60mins.

I put a few quid on him to get the first goal :)

I'm expecting someone like McAtee to open the scoring today with The Viking occupying three centre backs.

It's an odd selection in several respects - no wings and a prayer. Looks like Lewis moving into an already packed midfield alongside Kova, Bernie, KDB, Foden & McAtee with Haaland ploughing his lone furrow up top.

We don’t win this convincingly we should be embarrassed……

With all due respect, We aren't in any position to be embarrassing any team in the league that includes Southampton.

Realistically they could and should have got something at our place earlier in the season.

Don't get me wrong Southampton are fucking bobbins, We could make hard work of this same way we've made hard work of Wolves last week.

We are in a position to just get wins on the board regardless the performance, I don't think we are playing that well to be brushing anyone aside.

Leaving transfer aside - Pep has often said u regret not playing youngsters more ( u hardly take that at face value)

But the immediate movement of O Reilly to bench and Aknji to defence tells me something different.

What? Other than the Bournemouth and Chelsea games when he was just good/decent and nothing more, MOTM any other match. Got subbed off vs Bournemouth because of a yellow.
Player of the month for us with a record high number of votes.

He got subbed because he got booked and his general ability on the ball in that game was poor.

Its no coincidence that since he’s come out of the team, and Gvardiol has moved to centre back that we’ve gone on an unbeaten run.

Hope it works out for the lad but I have my doubts.

Lewis at left back or right back is a disaster waiting to happen, and it often does.
