As in when they won the last ever game at Maine Road and their fans took seats City supporters would have loved to have had.
Thought they were really good that day. They stayed on for the post match celebrations.
Probably heard the Oasis Whisper.

I've still got a soft spot for Southampton and bobby stokes for beating the rags in 76Aren't they just.
Plus last game at main road ! TwatsWe won the old 2nd division in 1966 and Southampton were our last game opponents. The league already won we were ready to party. Bloody 0-0. Been a pain in the arse since.

If memory serves , they didn't press our defence and keeper as others try. They pressed the midfield so Ederson and the defenders if they played the ball into central midfield, Rodri or Ferna, cant remember which, had 3 players closing them down, before they could release the ballWasn't to do with us being reluctant, it was the fact that Southamptons press completely baffled us. We couldn't move the ball through midfield.
Like I've said we're much stronger now. We didn't have Kev firing, Sterling was out of form and we had Ake at the back who's passing is nowhere near Stones/Laporte etc.
