Southampton fans coming out today

Their biggest game in 50 years, not even our biggest in the last 50 days, infact, not even our second biggest. So that should tell you everything about what to expect. Anybody thinking or expecting we'd be up for it as much as them is a moron, they were always going to be louder than us today.

I was disappointed with their fans tbh. Their song repertoire consisted of marching in, "yellows" and telling us how shit our fans were, that was it. If that was our biggest game in 50 years and thats all we could come up with, i'd be majorly disappointed with our fanbase. Comical how long it took the majority to realise the offside goal was offside. Im sure some were still celebrating after we had restarted play.
That goal being celebrated for so long probably sums up the standard of plastic away fan that was there.

I've been to their 'new ground' twice, I'd suspect that's as many if not more than a chunk of the yellllowwww wall.

I didn't see a single incident all day. There were loads of different groups of fans at Euston with Pompey coming off a train when Southampton were on the concourse. Arsenal and Newcastle were there too. Lots of songs going around but no trouble.

It was a bit dicey going back to Wembley Central and in the queue there, which was totally un-policed. Although the only actual fighting I saw was Southampton amongst themselves, which looked like the usual coke fuelled nonsense. How can you sing your support is shit, to a club with an average home gate three times what yours is. Retarded yokels.

Interested to see post from Lewiszn. I am a total normal grey haired no trouble City fan - sober but happy and after the game today walking back to my car near the Green Man I was called a northern bastard, a Northern **** twice, A northern monkey?? And spat at. I was on my own and was being goaded. These were all separate incidents. I didn’t react just kept moving, but these weren’t happy clappers on a picnic day out. Championship again ole ole.
and that was just your wife.

Didn’t spend much time around the stadium before kick off so wasn’t expecting what I saw after the game. At one point a middle aged bumpkin was following us up the street calling us this and that while dragging his young lad behind. Lad was clearly thinking “FFS Dad!” We were just pissing ourselves.

It was the equivalent of being at school and finding out the unpopular lad, who you never knew existed, never gave a second thought about had spent years of his life hating you.

Strange club, keep going about there great fans yesterday but they could only muster 17k for the tie against Leicester, in the earlier rounds. Calling others plastic, but turning up for a semi final but never bothering for your run of the mill matches is the very definition of plastic.

I think they got a bit over excited after scoring a goal and then having the final ripped away from them.
They could be back at Wembley next month if they progress in the play-offs - if so I hope they play Millwall and the two sets of fans fight each other all they want.
And Millwall win thevgame. They've let us use their ground in London to train on and been very accommodating. This has been in Pep times iirc.

Didn’t see any trouble on Wembley Way after the game, it got interesting at Waterloo when the Southampton fans met Pompey fans returning from Stoke, who were mocking them at full volume. One nil up and you fucked it up resounding everywhere, to the bemusement of families going home after a day out. No actual physicals that I saw, and different trains back to the south coast I think

Can confirm scuffles heading back to Wembley Central, and indeed outside the stadium, going through their end, outside.

Loads of intimidating , taunting, baiting, provoking and actually attacking isolated and heavily outnumbered City Fans.

Absolute arseholes !

Whilst waiting on the platform, for train to Watford, opposite platform full of them shouting abuse, and "can we have some of your money, as we are poor?"
When their train (into London) pulled in, they started throwing (mainly) bottles across the track at the City fans, and once they were inside their train, proceeded to confirm my previous comment (re arseholes) by "mooning" at the City fans on the opposite platform.

Maybe funny to some, but simply confirmed, that they were absolute arseholes and nothing else.

Worst opposition fans i've ever encountered at Wembley, and i've been to pretty much all of our recent Wembley visits

I have a feeling the final could be worse, depending on the result today.

Anything up to 37,000 Southampton fans there yesterday according to various media outlets, and yet they can only muster a 28,000 average capacity at home in a 32,000 stadium. Very odd.

not seen a bunch of away fans with such bad footwear since united
Not being funny fella do you Spend a lot of time looking at peoples footware lol

I do hope we get the Yorkshire hordes,

But that is inviting trouble,

One thing for them they have a uncanny hatred of the Noisey Neighbours,

Not really often Small Clubs can muster above their Average attendance at big Wembley Games. They must of All Climbed down from the Trees
