Southampton (H) | Post-Match Thread

A dreary start to the game is over after fourteen minutes with a wonderful pass by Laporte; chest control by Foden and some predatory instincts from de Bruyne. With a 1-0 lead, the control and calm which was missing from the start and from most of Sunday's game against United shows its face again. Famous last words, as Southampton get a penalty, and equalise.
Mate the chest control and cross on the first goal was Zinchenko.

What's Pep said then?
He said he understands why the fat twat Moss didn’t see the pen because he’s a fat, unhealthy, slug like ****. But what he didn’t understand is with the benefit of VAR, why was the pen not awarded.....he said it was incredible....actually he spelt it out rather comically.....and for which he will get a touch line ban for Fulham. (Imo)

He went on to say Hinchcliffe is a dirty turncoat wanker who now has a job as a Sky fluffer and that he wishes Tyler would stop talking shit and lose the boring anecdotes...

Who was it on the match day thread who said they would pay Peps fine for calling Moss out. Go on own up, and probably pay up.

Thanks. Do you know what he said about the players too?

Pep Guardiola: "I don't understand why Fulham is not allowed a goal vs Spurs. I don't understand the hands Arsenal vs Burnley. Another example is the penalty today. Jon can't see, but VAR is there. I never complain about the referees but this is in-cred-ible

From BBC

"For all Man City's success and wealth (just look at that squad!) their club lacks the most important thing, a soul. People may laugh but the reason other clubs like Liverpool, Man Utd, Arsenal amongst others come through hardships is because of a real fan base that helps to push the club on coupled with genuine principles that these clubs live by. Money is part of the modern game but aside from this what do City have? A belief in the academy? Loyalty from players? Or fans? I don't think so. Would Pep stick around if they were still at Maine Road without the wealth? They can't even fill their own stadium at the best if times. Yes they'll win the league but they won't win the hearts of football fans."
Alex, Yatton

1. Of course the bbc post this on the match feed.
2.We should start a collection for Alex so he can buy some books, get some internets and realise History started a lot fucking earlier than 2008. FUCKING MARDY ARSE ****.

Phil saying the pitch is muddy.
Noticed how poor it was plenty of deep scuff marks especially in the half we kicking to in the second half.

Allowing 6 shots on target two games in a row and conceding 2 in each is my only concern going forward.

As great as 5-2 is would always prefer a clean sheet and a three goal win but no complaints with the outcome.
