In terms of league distance between teams, on paper, this is arguably the 'easiest' fixture that we currently have until January. That said, Southampton are a stuffy lot- most draws in the league (4) and they've only shipped 3 goals in two games: Liverpool(H) and Chelsea(A)- so it's hard to see it being a walk in the park this afternoon. One of those games where an early goal, or two in quick succession, would be most welcome.

Don’t forget, we’re the only team who average over 20 chances created a game. Other teams may have struggled to put goals past them but if we are clinical we should bag a few.
