No easy games in the prem jimbo
Agreed Kaz; that's why I said "easier", which it clearly is in comparison to last monday and/or next sunday. Pep has said he wants Brahim to stay, but you can't blame the lad for looking elsewhere for regular first team football. It is obviously difficult for Pep to juggle getting results with the need to give the youngsters some game time. The odd cup game is not really much use to them, particularly Phil.

I think it is our best starting 11 without kev,no rash subs at 2-0 though, that is not home and hosed as we found out last season,3-0 then subs

COME ON BLUEBOYS
We can only make subs when it’s 3-0?? We’ve been 3-0 up in 4 of our 10 league games. So we have to go without subs in 60% of our matches just in case it backfires?

Great line up but I’m a bit surprised we are putting such a strong team out. I expected some rotation. Hopefully we can get a good lead early and make some substitutions.

We've had a full rotation on Thursday.
International break after derby.
Our top guns could play those 3 matches.
But we have great players for some rotation on Wednesday.,
All good.

Btw, it's the normal procedure:
strong lineup, win the game, control and manage the last bit.
There's nothing new in it at all.

SS take the biscuit by having the teams on the ticker at the bottom-but the team stops at Raz-only 9 names on our team apparently. I'm not sure even we would win with only 9 for 90 minutes!!

Rash subs like taking off dinho i mean, the other we can change no probs
By the way i'm not predicting 3-0 just responding to those who say once we have the lead make subs,2-0 is not really a good lead imo but then i am an oldie who still expects typical city!

He should have been on the bench, Phil could have sat out of the squad today without any fuss.
I don’t agree. We have Mahrez and Brahim to cover Sané and Sterling’s roles, but only Foden to cover the Silvas. Foden not being on the bench would make zero sense with KDB and Gundogan out. It was a straight fight between Mahrez and Brahim for a bench spot.

Brahim did say he was prepare to stay and fight for a place and that he understood he was only young and had to bide his time.
This was in an interview after the Fulham game.
