Pep caused the issue,intentionally or otherwise,he is completely responsible for perpetuating the myth and for the reaction it has generated.
Of course he is the greatest manager we have had,but that does not absolve him of criticism or warrant his constant protection by some.

Newsflash.....he is human,and he fucks up occasionally......like he did in the Champs final and like he has done here.

Anyway,it needs putting to bed,we need to reverse the damage and reclaim the high ground - rousing renditions of 'we're not really here' along with a severe thrashing for the Saints should see to that.

Very good player,positionally superb with excellent awareness and vision and while slightly lacking in the agility,speed and mobility area.....he does offer a real physical presence.

I think he meant whether he has a groin strain (as it looked on Weds) or not, and his longer term injury status.

But what makes him think he needs to say it as if our previous two home games in the PL haven't been well attended? When he says these things in public he has to be aware of what the reaction will be.

Perhaps he wanted to stir it a little and get CIty fans up for the weekend but hadn't counted on criticism from within?
