Southampton post match thread

Maybe it was lost in the translation or misunderstood in his mundane mumblings

But he just said he didn't think the team he picked today could win the match!!!!

I sympathise with Sterling as he's had no real game time and we all know him and Kolorov doesn't work
Delph was really poor but no worse than Fernandinho
Zabba was fucking awful from the second minute when he was left on hs arse
As for Bony! Well we saw today how you play with a target man in your team (Shane Long) and how you can feed off him. We just don't play to Bony's strengths and I really feel for him
Our centre halves were dragged from pillar to post because of the lack of any kind of help from the full backs and central midfield
Nasri was non existent

The only positive from today was Nigerian Ian showing us again his goal scoring instinct

Manuel you score two out of ten.You picked a totally unbalanced side and the only reason you score anything is because you rested our best three players

Don't blame the team selection, but do blame a knack of passion, desire, determination etc from the players. There was a chance for some players to say I should be picked on Wednesday although nobody took it. Back four looked like it had never played in those positions before, Delph thought he was still at VIlla, WIlf was appalling and made no claim to say he is the number two striker etc etc. truly appalling attitude
This give him a selection headache some could have played a blinder and it may have got his attention nacho was the only one,to many resigned to just shrugging their shoulders and thinking oh well ..

Please can somebody give me a clear understanding of why we bought Sterling, other than he is English? I understand it has something to do with potential and him being young, but I can't see it myself, just seems to lack top level skill in so many attributes, first touch, finishing, gets pushed off the ball so easily...were we robbed and worked over big style???

Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini told BBC Sport: "I'm very frustrated because I didn’t expect that performance - especially in defence. At least four of them [today's line-up] are not playing [regularly].

"I think we could've played on Saturday and named a stronger team. But in this case we had to prioritise Wednesday's game [against Real Madrid].

"The best way to prepare is to win but we couldn’t do it."

Guess what Manuel......nearly all of Bluemoon DID!!!

Thank fuck we will soon see the back of Kolarov, Bony, Demichellis, Delph ( Yes we should fuck him off ), Zabba ( Great servant...past it now ) and maybe Mangala, Otamendi and Sterling.

If we are getting Laporte and Stones then Denayer back we are definately selling 2 centerbacks
Don't get me fucking started on the Demichellis subsitution ....

PS ...Has Pep ever won the Europa League ?

So true regarding the players to go.

The apologist happy clappers on here been defending that group all season when we can all see none are good enough to operate at the top table. Thanks for the memories Zabba the others are shaming the club and cheating wages week in week out. Mercenaries.

Just laugh mate, it's all you can do,you can just imagine the Sheik watching that live with his mates back at home wondering what the fuck he has invested in.

Cheech and Chong the Spaniards know fuck all about this league, Pottechino and Ranieri have pulled everyone's pants down with a hard working pressing ethic- we get two twats who think because they have done it in Spain makes them some sort of mythical fucking know it alls.

We are being left behind on the pitch , who's the fucking experts now Cheech and Chong?
As much as I want to laugh, the thought of the rags getting in the top 4 and us missing out is enough to make me want to choke on my own puke. If they get top they might get a couple of class players and leave us behind :(

Absolutely my thoughts. Anyone who blame Pellegrini is blind to what a manager can do. I am a fan of Kolarov but he was walking around exposing body language as if he was too good to be second choice. Sterling ... how can we have a topic on him playing like this. Bony ...look at lheanacho who seems the only player worth keeping. And l could go on. Pellegrini putting on Demichelis I like he was saying to his players: You feck me. I'll feck you. I totally blame players' attitude.
