Southampton Post Match Thread

We shouldn't castigate those who have to fight traffic and get up early for jobs.

But I only get out every year or so, and I savor every last second of just getting to be in my adopted city, let alone with my beloved club. The Etihad is like a cathedral for us, atmosphere or no. I'd hope those lucky enough to see City weekly understand that they seem very fortunate to those of us for whom it's a very expensive pilgrimage.

I guess I'm glad that today I stayed in my pub here in NorCal til the last but honestly couldn't ever see myself leaving it early under any circumstance.
It’s the same when we have an early kick off in a Saturday so I’m not having it that it’s people getting home early before an early start for work

Thought Otamendi was our best player. Every time he got the ball he had the courage to step into midfield and try to force them to move their fixed lines. Everyone else was too slow and predictable.

Flipping unbelievable goal by Sterling. To produce that at that moment is just incredible.

Early in the season, teams tried to get at us, and got slaughtered.

For the last 2 months, teams have tried to park the bus and every single one has lost.

I am genuinely intrigued as to what managers will do next, because if we keep winning - if we manage to get past United basically - then they will give up the bus parking, it happened to Pep's Barca.

I think they'll just start treating it like a friendly and play their fringe players to be honest. Why waste energy on us when other sides are winnable games

It's not the opposition that pisses me off with time wasting, it's the wank refs who do crutch all about it . Anyway lovely finish at the end , one day all the early leavers might get the message .
