I really don't get the weird Vieira system of having the fullbacks go narrow in midfield when the CB's have the ball, it completely removes the out ball for the CB's. I've never seen anyone else ever do it and I can't see any benefit to it

It is a very weird tactic, probably the reason our centre backs keep giving the ball way

Ntcham baffles me as a player. Most of the half he barely resembled a professional footballer, then he scores a lovely goal like that. Is it possible for a human being to be a sleeping giant?

Just seen mc v southpton u21 highlights..got to be the worst defending ive seen in a long time

Been watching the whole time. Have been about 4 utterly terrifying breaks for So'ton so far. Still 0-0 though,

Nacho really is too good for this level, when you look at the bottom half of the premier league table its not hard to imagine he'd be fighting for a starting place in many of them. A fantastic prospect who I hope takes over from Jovetic as the 'fourth' striker if not going out on loan.

I'm assuming it helps the players develop parts of their game as from a tactical prespective I too don't see the value.

Iheanacho is really quite impressive so composed compared to most players his age , where barker sqewed that shot wide and high I would of put money on iheanacho scoring. I would have Aguero , Bony , Iheanacho as our mian strikers and we also have a number of players who could play the false 9 if things got desperate
