LoveCity said:No mention of Shaw being in doubt from Pochettino that I can see, but yeah, they have loads injured - this is a rare dose of luck for us going into a game like this, just hope we use it.
From their official website:
"Goalkeepers Artur Boruc and Kelvin Davis remain out with injury, with Paulo Gazzaniga expected to line up between the posts again after making his first start in over a year on Wednesday.
Morgan Schneiderlin misses out again as do Guly do Prado and Danny Fox, whilst Nathaniel Clyne and Victor Wanyama also came off injured in the Villa game and are unlikely to play. Jose Fonte is also considered a doubt."
Pre-match quotes
Mauricio Pochettino:
“Man City have some great players so we’ll be facing a great side- we all know that. It’s a very tough test.
“When we don’t have possession, we need to pressure them. They have very good players who are able to impose themselves very well, so we need to be able to neutralise that to cut the supply to dangerous players.
“Of course, injuries always change your plan and your outlook. They well have a negative impact on you but we need to keep on working and believing in the way that we have played.”
So they are sure to do more pressing than a hospital laundry. City will need to be brave but sensible in possession in our own half.
